The Built Environment and Adolescent Mental Health
Deadline 24th June 2022
One three-year studentship for a candidate applying to the Architectural Space & Computation MPhil/PhD programme at The Bartlett, beginning in 2022. The candidate will be supported in developing a broad characterisation of the built environment in the city of Bradford, in order to analyse the relationship between mental health and factors such as access to green space, proximity to local high streets, and social connectivity. The successful applicant will receive a waiver for home fees and a maintenance stipend. Candidates must hold (or be close to completion) a Master’s in space syntax, or in an allied subject that has a significant amount of space syntax content. Familiarity with health geographies is an advantage, as is expertise in spatial data analysis.
