Rebecca Benson

Rebecca was previously at the Policy Institute at King’s College London, where she explored a range of social policy issues using quantitative data. Rebecca’s research interests are in inequality and disadvantage. She has published and presented on the relationship between education and obesity; health, ageing, and work; housing policy; trust in government; and attitudes towards inequalities. Her methodological expertise is in secondary longitudinal data, and she has also had advanced training in methods for causal inference. Rebecca has a PhD in Public Policy from the University of Texas at Austin and an MPH from the University of Otago. Rebecca is excited to be a part of ActEarly and the important Healthier Wealthier Families work.
